Car Insurance Eagle (Car Insurance). !994 ford ranger electrical problem... Please help?!994 ford ranger electrical problem... Please help? I have a 1994 Ford Ranger splash, 4.0 liter, 4x4, auto trans. I bought the truck thinking it only needed a fuel pump, I replaced the fuel pump and sending unit but it still didn't run so I replaced the ECM but still nothing, replaced the fuel pump relay, battery, ignition module checked all fuses still nothing. I hot wired the fuel pump and it ran just fine but it will not kick on with the ignition. I'm stumped : / It sounds like the truck was in a accident and the cutoff operated to turn off the fuel pump. I do not know where it is located but that sounds like the problem. From what I remember it is resettable. Auto parts : Alternator Adjusting Bolt Acura 1995 . Alternator Belt Alfa Romeo 1996 . Black leather and everything. Black on the outside. But its still a 2004. And it has around 90,000 miles on it. Thats a lot... They're asking 12,900 for it, but im sure we could talk them down a little. Haha. I dont know a lot about these cars, like if they're reliable.. Or a good first car. With that many miles on it, how much longer do you think it will last? To you guys that have owned this car, how did you like it, how did it drive, how did it do on gas, what went wrong and when, stuff like that would be helpful. Thank you! :) car insurance. Car idles low and then stalled earlier today...2000 Saturn SL2? Car idles low and then stalled earlier today...2000 Saturn SL2? So I took a trip last night, about 4 hour trip and the car worked perfect. I put gas in last night before coming home. I went to work this morning, came to lunch, and went back from lunch. It wasn't until after work that I started the car and it idled REALLY low when I came to stops. Then, just as I got home, the car stalled. I waited a bit and then tried it and it started again, but still idled low. My uncle thought maybe the gas I had put in last night was bad and maybe had water in it. So I refueled and added some fuel injection. The car idles a bit better now, but I'm worried about a bigger issue now... NO lights have come on or anything. But I have people telling me that maybe it's the accelerator going out...Do you think this is it because if it is I can't afford to fix it and now I'm worried? car insurance. Eagle . How to Install a 2000 Monte Carlo Ignition ModuleThe ignition control module and ignition coils in your 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo work as a single unit to control the voltage and the timing of the spark delivered to each of the pistons in the engine block. However, you can remove the coils to replace a failed ignition module without having to replace the whole assembly. Better yet, you can install the new ignition module in your garage with a few common tools right out of your toolbox in about an hour or less. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Masking tape Black marker Ratchet Short ratchet extension Socket set New ignition control moduleRemove the Ignition Module Step by Step : 1 Open the hood of your Monte Carlo. Follow the spark plug wires coming out of the engine towards the other end where they connect with the ignition coils. The ignition coils mount on the ignition module. 2 Number each spark plug wire and ignition coil with a piece of masking tape and a black marker so that you reinstall each wire and coil in its corresponding place on the new ignition module during the reassembly process. 3 Grab each spark plug wire by the boot that connects to the ignition coil and pull it off carefully with a twisting motion. 4 Unfasten the two bolts holding each of the three ignition coils to the ignition module using a ratchet, short ratchet extension and socket. 5 Unplug the electrical connector from the ignition module. If you have a 3.8L engine model, unfasten the bolt holding the electrical connector to the ignition module first, using a ratchet and socket, before attempting to unplug it. 6 Unfasten the ignition module from the mounting bracket using a ratchet, short ratchet extension and socket. Remove the module from the vehicle. Install the New Ignition Module Step by Step : 1 Place the new ignition module in position on the mounting bracket and install the mounting bolts finger tight. Tighten the bolts with the ratchet, short ratchet extension and socket. 2 Plug in the ignition module electrical connector. If you have a 3.8L engine model, fasten the bolt to secure the electrical connector to the ignition module, using the ratchet and socket, after plugging in the connector. 3 Replace the three ignition coils and tighten the mounting bolts with the ratchet, short ratchet extension and socket. 4 Connect the spark plug wires to the ignition coils. Make sure each spark plug wire snaps in place over the tower connectors on the ignition coils. 5 Close the hood.
Eagle . 1993 Dodge D150 TroubleshootingDodge has been manufacturing trucks since 1917, but the look and makeup of the Dodge lineup of trucks has changed significantly since the company's first trucks were produced. The 1993 Dodge D150 included a 5.9-liter eight cylinder gasoline engine and the option to take delivery of the vehicle with a 30 gallon fuel tank. Because the D150 is such a complex truck made up of so many different parts, bolts and belts, it can be challenging to troubleshoot a problem, some of which are realized by changes in the way the truck feels to the driver. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Step by Step : 1 Inspect the air filter on your truck when it feels sluggish as you drive. The air filter may be clogged or dirty. 2 Find the clutch disc if the truck is slipping gears while you are driving. The disc may be contaminated with transmission fluid, worn or damaged and should be replaced. Examine the components of the clutch assembly, including the clutch disc springs, pressure plate diaphragm fingers and pressure plate to see whether any of these parts are broken, missing, damaged or worn. 3 Check the timing specifications for your Dodge if the truck feels like it misfires as you accelerate. The timing may need to be adjusted. Inspect the spark plugs for signs of damage or deterioration. If the misfiring occurs primarily while the engine idles, find the engine's wireset to see if any of the spark plug wires are worn or damaged. 4 Gauge the amount of power steering fluid you have in your truck when the steering wheel becomes difficult to turn. If you have sufficient fluid, find the power steering pump to look for signs of wear or damage. The power steering hose may also be clogged or damaged. Inspect the tie rod ends for wear or damage and confirm that the power steering belt is properly routed and adjusted. 5 Examine the radiator hose if your engine is overheating while you driving. The hose may be ruptured, cracked or leaking. Check the head gasket, thermostat and radiator cap for damage or wear. Find the water pump belt to confirm that it is functioning properly and examine the heater core for antifreeze leaks. If the water pump persists, the intake manifold gasket and radiator fan motor may be faulty or there may be missing fan blades on the radiator fan. *your car. Exhaust gases from the burnt fuel/air mixture that was ignited in the cylinders pass through exhaust pipes to the tailpipe at the rear of the vehicle (these gases contain carbon monoxide, which is poisonous). On the way, antismog pollution-control devices remove some of the harmful sub stances. A muffler controls the noise of the escaping gases; if it fails, you can get a ticket, probably for disturbing the peace! There is little you can do to maintain or repair this system except to have the tailpipe or muffler replaced if it breaks or wears out. You'll hear about its parts again as you wend your way through the book. Figure 4-11: 252

The brake pedal pushes against another piston in a cylinder located under the hood of your car. This is called the master cylinder, and it is filled with a liquid called brake fluid. 3. When the piston in the master cylinder is pushed by your brake pedal, it forces the brake fluid out of the master cylinder into tubes called brake lines, which run to each wheel of your car. Eagle . What does it mean if your car wont take gas but is not full?
* 4. The wheel has either a disc brake or a drum brake. To keep it simple, I'll just look at disc brakes here. (Drum brakes work on the same general principles; see Chapter 10.) A disc brake is composed of a flat steel disc (surprise!) sandwiched between a pair of calipers, as shown in Figure 4-13. These calipers contain one or more little pistons that are forced into the disc by the brake fluid. Part II: What Makes It Go?. Figure 4-13: Atypical disc brake. 5. Brake pads located between the disc and the pistons grab the disc with their rough asbestos surfaces and force the disc to stop turning. This forces the wheel to stop turning. When the wheels stop turning, the car comes to a stop. 6. Eagle . What is the definition for-bens?
* When you take your foot off the brake pedal, the whole process is reversed: The brake pads release their hold on the disc, the fluid moves back up the brake lines to the master cylinder, and the wheels can turn freely again. Four-wheel disc brakes are standard on most new vehicles. Other vehicles have disc brakes on the front wheels and drum brakes on the rear wheels. A few older cars have drum brakes all around. Chapter 10 tells you all about both kinds of brakes and how power brakes and parking brakes work, and Chapter 18 shows you how to check the brake system on your car to see whether it's in good shape and how to do simple brake work. Now that you've got the general picture of how the various systems in your car work together, the rest of this part goes into detail about each system. Then Part III shows you how to keep each automotive system functioning smoothly with simple maintenance and easy repairs. If your car is behaving erratically, check out Chapter 20 for a guide to various symptoms and what they mean. If you encounter something that you can't handle, Chapter 22 tells you how to find a good service facility and become its favorite customer. Eagle . What kind of car do haiti drive?
